Our team of experts is known for their attention to detail and commitment to delivering the best solutions for our customers' needs.SummaryIn the role of Commercial Service Technician you will be responsible for maintaining systems, troubleshooting problems, and making repairs. DutiesBasic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial garage doors & related products. Perform preventive maintenance services.Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfactory service.Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of age.Must possess a valid Driver's LicenseMust have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from our base office location.Previous experience in garage door service/installation or similar skilled tradePreferred QualificationsPrevious commercial electrical experience is strongly preferred - preference will be given to those candidates with direct experience.Experience in garage door service/install or similar skilled trade.Welding, OSHA 10, first aid, and/or CPR certification(s)Basic knowledge of construction and hand toolsMechanical InclinationSkillsWillingness to learnStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailCustomer service orientated mindsetAdaptability to changing work environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWork ConditionsNon-climate-controlled environment - will be working in all weather conditions. Frequently walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
