Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Family Medicine team at University Hospitals. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Order and conduct routine diagnostic procedures, and develop and execute treatment plans.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and contribute to staff, patient, and family education.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective management skills, and provide education and professionalism through role modeling and training.
• Pursue professional development through learning and education, and build and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Show commitment to the hospital's mission and values.Requirements:
  • Proven proficiency as a practitioner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with various technical patient care devices.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and office equipment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with clinical practice focus.
  • Physician Assistant: Completion of accredited Physician Assistant training with NCCPA certification.
  • Nurse Practitioner: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Current RN and APRN licenses in Ohio.
  • Physician Assistant: BLS required; ACLS preferred. NCCPA Certification and DEA license.
