Aon is Looking for a Broker I, Mid-Market, SouthfieldAs part of
an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our
clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of
our Middle Market Team in Southfield, MI.This role is a hybrid
working style. You will be expected to be in the office 2 to 3 days
a week.What the day will look likeAs a Broker you will be focusing
on handling new and exisiting business within the Middle Market
Practice. You will build and cultivate relationships with internal
teams, external partners and underwriters. You will bring your
expertise and knowledge of a broad range of industries within
Property & Casualty.Essential job functionsPerform the duties of a
Middle Market Property and Casualty Broker Placement of new and
renewal P&C programs including drafting submissionsNegotiate
and place programs during renewal cycleAnalyze and review insurance
programs for clients to determine optimum program including
pricing, terms and conditions.Develop and maintain positive
relationships with the carriers that write both Middle Market and
Upper Middle Market P&C businessMentor and help develop
associate brokers on the teamWork as a team member and collaborate
with other colleagues within the Aon Support local broking team on
loss analysis, benchmarking, data and analytics toolsSkills and
experience that will lead to success3+ years of proven experience
placing and servicing P&C businessStrong understanding of
Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetitesBroad
relationships with the carriers that write Middle Market P&C
businessRequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree or equivalent years
of proven experience.Current Property & Casualty licenseThe salary
range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $72,000 -
$100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's
education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be
adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.Oview of our
